Delegate registration fee includes all general sessions, workshops, round table discussions, Trade Show, the Chair's Reception, Awards Reception and continental breakfasts on Monday and Thursday - plus all refreshment breaks. Additional fees are required for certain meal functions and special activities.

Spouse registration fee includes all general sessions, spouse programs, Trade Show, Chair's Reception, Awards Reception and contintental breakfasts on Monday and Thursday. Additional fees are required for certain meal functions and special activities.


Convention Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel your convention registration, written cancellation must be received by the IAFE no later than Nov. 19, 2008. After Nov. 19, 2008, a 75% refund will be given. Due to special commitments, optional function refunds will not be given after Nov. 19, 2008, and no refunds will be given after Dec. 29, 2008.


Hotel Reservations

Hotel rooms are available in the IAFE Block at both the Paris and Bally's Hotels on a first-come, first-served basis. A regular (king or two double beds) room at Paris will be $99 + tax per night; at Bally's will be $84 + tax per night.

At this time, hotel reservations can only be made by calling the hotels (information below) or visiting the online hotel reservation site.

You may call the Paris at 888/266-5687 or Bally's at 800/634-3434 for reservations. Reservations can also be faxed to Paris at 702/967-3807 or Bally's at 702/967-3848. You may make a hotel reservation on-line by clicking on the hotel reservation links below or by visiting the convention registration page (You must be logged on with your PIN & password to do so).

Convention room rates are effective from Friday, December 12, through Thursday, December 18. The reservation deadline is November 20. A credit application may be obtained directly by contacting the hotel sales department at 702/967-4647.

Paris and Bally's Hotels

The Paris Hotel offers excellent facilities for convention and trade show activities, and adjoining Bally's is within easy walking distance with great amenities of its own. Both hotels offer a pool and spa, casino facilities, and a variety of shops, and Bally's also features tennis courts and a salon.

Both hotels also offer plenty of dining choices with a variety of cuisine. At the Paris, try the Eiffel Tower Restaurant, Les Artistes Steakhouse, Le Village Buffet, Le Provençal, or Le Café Île St. Louis. Bally's offers al Dente, Bally's Steakhouse, Sidewalk Café, Ichiban Sushi, Café Sbarro, ASIA and Johnny's Delicatessen.

Badge Requirements

All registrants are required to wear the official badge at all times. Badges are used for identification and are required for admission to all IAFE functions as well as the Trade Show.


Weather/Attire

The average high for December in Las Vegas is 66 degrees, and the average low is 44 degrees. You should bring medium-weight clothing, and we also recommend bringing a light coat for those cooler evenings. Business casual dress is acceptable for most convention sessions; however, you may want to wear more formal attire for certain events.
